A Brahman bull has just entered the history of national cattle farming, achieving the highest Eye of Round Area (AOL) measurement ever recorded in Brazil for animals up to 36 months old. When evaluated by carcass ultrasonography, the breeder Mr SEC Kimme130 reached a measurement of 173.04 square centimeters of AOL. Until then, the highest index was 171 square centimeters, according to data from DGT Brasil. The AOL index is directly linked to the size of the tenderloin and the animal's ability to produce high-quality meat with a high carcass yield. The record-breaking bull, born at Estância Santa Clara in Descalvado (SP), was evaluated by the North American software Beef Image Analysis (BIA), used to measure carcass quality in live animals.
