In the week ending August 17, US exporters sold 71,400 tonnes of soybean meal from the 2022/23 harvest, a 44% drop compared to the previous week. The main buyers were Colombia, Venezuela, Morocco, Honduras, and Ireland, which offset cancellations from undisclosed destinations and El Salvador. In total, 274,000 tons were sold for the 2023/24 period, with shipments abroad increasing by 28% compared to the previous week. The main destinations for exports were Colombia, the Philippines, Venezuela, Israel, and Canada.
