In October, Brazil experienced a sixth consecutive month of rising live pig and meat prices, fueled by record pork exports and strong domestic demand amid a low supply of animals at ideal slaughter weight. According to Secex and Cepea, Brazil shipped 102.1 thousand tons of pork, with a daily average of 5.3 thousand tons, marking an 8.1% increase from September and a 41% rise from the previous year. In the meat market, special pork carcasses increased by 1% to R$ 13.18/kg in Greater São Paulo, while boneless shoulder cuts rose by 2.6% to R$14.14/kg in October.
