Brazil has successfully opened 100 new markets for agricultural products since 2019, diversifying its export portfolio. The new markets include countries like Colombia, South Korea, Guyana, and the United Arab Emirates, and cover a wide range of products from traditional meats to non-traditional items such as nuts, seedlings, and genetic material. The initiative, led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, aims to provide new opportunities for Brazilian producers and includes markets for products with high added value. The majority of these markets are in America and Asia, with a few in Africa and Oceania, and cover a variety of products including poultry, cattle, plants, pigs, bovine genetic material, dairy products, and fruits.
