Gabon's health authority has approved the International Zoosanitary Certificate for the export of cattle and buffaloes for breeding from Brazil, strengthening Brazil's presence in the global meat market. In 2023, Gabon imported over US$46 million in Brazilian agribusiness products, with the meat sector accounting for 85% of these imports. This approval is expected to further expand this commercial relationship, providing new opportunities for Brazilian producers. This development marks Brazil's 75th market opening of the year, demonstrating the quality and efficiency of Brazilian products and the sector's expansion efforts.
