Brazil, the world's largest chicken meat exporter, has declared the end of a Newcastle disease outbreak in the south, which had halted its chicken meat exports. The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has informed the World Organization for Animal Health and is enhancing biosafety protocols on poultry farms. The affected farm will be monitored for 42 days, with control measures in place within a 10-kilometer radius. While most countries have lifted export restrictions, China, Argentina, and Mexico still impose restrictions on all of Brazil, and several others maintain them for the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
