Brazil to export poultry meat to one of the largest consumers in southeastern Europe

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) announced this Wednesday that it has received authorization from the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina to sell poultry meat. “This opening, which should help increase trade flow between the two countries, is yet another demonstration of international confidence in Brazil’s health control system,” the ministry said in a statement. The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) also celebrated the new market opening. “The Bosnian market is a highly relevant opportunity for Brazilian exporters. There is demand for poultry products with high quality standards, and there is a need to complement local production […],” said the president of the organization, Ricardo Santin.
