The Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC) has released a report, the 'Brazil-China Letter', highlighting the diversification of Brazilian agribusiness exports to China, with soy still being a major product but other categories like meat, fruit, dairy, and coffee seeing significant growth. In 2020, Brazilian exports made up half of China's imports, surpassing $22 billion. The report also notes a rise in the consumption of Brazilian coffee in China, which grew by 157% in volume from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, there's been an increase in Brazilian meat exports to China, with beef exports alone accounting for 40% of China's imports in 2020.
