On June 25, 2024, following the end of the Eid al-Adha season, meat prices in Egyptian butcher shops underwent changes, reflecting the market's dynamics. Local meat prices ranged from 350 to 475 pounds per kilo, influenced by factors such as quality, cut, and animal age. Minced meat and other products' prices varied, with camel meat and liver priced higher. Brazilian minced meat was available for 240 pounds, while imported meats and sausages were more expensive. Live cattle markets reported lower prices for standing buffalo and beef heads. This report provides an overview of the diverse price range for various meat products in Egyptian markets on that day.
