The Brazilian Minister of Agriculture, Carlos Fávaro, has pledged to back the livestock sector and discussed offering credit facilities with reasonable interest rates to cattle farmers to boost production. The announcement was made during the inauguration of the new board of directors of the Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders (ABCZ). Fávaro also emphasized the importance of farm security and the need for dialogue between different livestock breeds to enhance the sector. The Brazilian Association of Angus, representing Nivaldo Dzyekanski, also emphasized the need for collaboration and discussed new projects like the Sustainability Seal and the good practices manual with the minister.
