In April, Brazil's coffee exports experienced a decline, with a 10.3% decrease in volume and a 16.9% decrease in revenue compared to the same month in the previous year, according to the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council. Despite this, the accumulated exports for the first 10 months of the 2022/23 crop year showed a slight increase in revenue, generating over $6.99 billion. The United States, Germany, Italy, Japan, Belgium, and Colombia were the main importers of Brazilian coffee in the first four months of 2023, with the United States being the largest market. Arabica coffee was the most exported variety, accounting for 85.2% of the total exports.
