Brazil’s pork exports hit second-highest monthly volume – ABPA

Brazilian pork exports (including all fresh and processed products) totalled 144,000 tons in October, according to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA). It was the second-highest monthly volume in the sector’s history, up 10.1% from the 130,900 tons shipped in the same month last year. Export revenue reached US$343.6 million in October, also the second-highest monthly result on record, and 9.7% higher than the US$313.3 million reported a year earlier. From January to October, pork exports totalled 1.266 million tons, an increase of 12.9% compared with 1.121 million tons in the same period last year. Revenue for the first ten months of the year reached US$3.046 billion, up 22.7% from US$2.482 billion in the same period of 2024. The total has already surpassed all export revenue generated in 2024 (US$3.033 billion), making 2025 a record year for the sector.
