Bulgaria and Ukraine have reached an agreement on grain imports, with Ukraine providing weekly information on export licenses to Bulgaria, as well as quotas for specific products not to exceed half of previous imports. Bulgarian companies will be able to import over 1 Mt of grain and oil from Ukraine, including 24 Kt of wheat, 18 Kt of corn, and significant quantities of various types of oil. The quotas are expected to be valid until the end of 2024, with the potential for additional imports from Romania or Moldova if needed.
