Adel Khairullin, the general director of OOO GC Krasny Vostok, has highlighted that Russia faces challenges in exporting whole and skim milk due to its failure to meet international standards. This issue is particularly significant in China, where products that do not conform to local standards can be rejected, even before the expiration date. Khairullin emphasizes the need for Russian dairy producers to improve their technological efficiency to compete in international markets. He notes that while raw milk exports are currently challenged, finished dairy products like yogurts, kefir, and cheeses find ready markets in Southeast Asia. The construction of a deep milk processing plant in Republic of Tatarstan is seen as a step towards addressing the challenges in the international dairy market.
