Cambodia has been continuously seeking a product from Vietnam for many years: Our country produces 8 million tons each year, having just earned over 700 million USD.

According to preliminary statistics from the Customs Department, in October 2025, Vietnam exported over 191 thousand tons of fertilizer worth over 44 million USD, a decrease of 37.2% in quantity and 44.1% in value compared to the previous month. Cumulatively in the first 10 months of the year, the country exported over 1.7 million tons of fertilizer worth over 747 million USD, an increase of 22.6% in quantity and 26.6% in value compared to the same period last year. The average export price was 423 USD/ton, up 3% from 10M/2024. In terms of market, Vietnam's fertilizer exports were highest to the Cambodian market with over 610 thousand tons, worth over 249 million USD, an increase of 28% in quantity and 26% in value compared to the same period last year.
