Carrefour stores for the National Food Group? The agriculture minister has appealed to the head of state assets

This could be a new opportunity to strengthen Polish farmers in the supply chains! – the Ministry of Agriculture believes in the context of a potential takeover of the Carrefour store chain by, for example, the National Food Group. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MRiRW) officially recommends the takeover of the Carrefour store chain (a brand that is reportedly withdrawing, among other places, from Poland) and the continuation of work on the consolidation of state assets in the food trade. In its assessment, this could be another step towards building its own supply chains, which on the one hand will strengthen the position of farmers, and on the other hand, will guarantee consumers easy access to high-quality products from Polish farms and agricultural holdings.
