Rio Grande do Norte is set to see a 7.7% increase in cashew production this year, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics. To boost small producers' competitiveness and improve production, a technical course on technological innovations for cashew cultivation was held in the Mato Grande region. The course covered various aspects of cashew production and included practical demonstrations, and is part of a larger project to modernize and revitalize cashew culture in the Potiguar region, involving Sebrae, Embrapa Agroindústria Tropical, and Banco do Nordeste, with plans for further training and consultancies.
