The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) has officially recognized the program “People Who Produce and Preserve,” under the management and responsibility of CAT Sorriso, as compliant with the requirements of good agricultural practices. The ordinance was published in the Official Gazette of the Union this month. In just over ten years, the group, which began with nine rural properties—which had their soybean production certified by the international standard RTRS—has grown to 54 in the 2024/2025 crop. The seal granted by the Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS) is a global benchmark in sustainability in agricultural production.
