Cereal prices continue to decline in Spain with no signs of change in the short term

Cereal prices have registered new weekly drops in Spanish markets and operators assure that the downward trend has little sign of changing in the short term, as sources from the Accoe wholesale merchant association have informed Efeagro. All cereals have registered price declines in the last closed week (until last Friday). The prices and falls have been the following: common wheat, 218.91 euros/ton (-1.22%); corn, 210.06 euros/ton (-1.01%); barley, 210.71 euros/ton (-1.4%); durum wheat, 340 euros/ton (-3.5%); and malt barley, 229.25 euros/ton (-0.5%).
