The corn market in Rio Grande do Sul remains breathless and with low liquidity, with transactions restricted to small local consumers, such as farms and breeders, according to information from TF Agroeconômica. "The state still depends on the entry of grains from other regions and Paraguay, given the limited internal supply. Purchase indications vary between R$ 67.00 and R$ 70.00/sack, while asking prices remain firm between R$ 70.00 and R$ 72.00/sack. At the port, the corn futures for February/26 are quoted at R$ 69.00/sack," it comments.
