Cheongyang's future 20 years, the pace of transformation into a sustainable rural city.

Cheongyang County is accelerating the establishment of a sustainable future foundation for rural cities by actively pushing forward the 2040 county master plan, strengthening policies for age-friendly cities, and enhancing the practical capabilities of special judicial police. First, Cheongyang County actively reflected the effects of being selected as a "rural basic income pilot area" in its master plan, adding momentum to the 2040 Cheongyang County master plan. The county designed new future strategies in seven areas: urban, housing, education, welfare, rural specialty, and economic industry, based on the effects of the basic income system, such as increased in-migration, return of youth to rural areas, and improved settlement rates.
