Brazil's chicken meat exports saw a significant increase in October compared to the same period in 2020, with a 24.2% rise to 397.1 thousand tons and revenue increasing by 60.1% to $715.2 million. The accumulated exports from January to October reached 3.864 million tons, a 10.45% increase from the previous year, generating $6.339 billion, a 25.1% increase year-on-year. China continues to be the main destination for Brazilian chicken meat, followed by Japan and the United Arab Emirates. The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) anticipates a strong second half of the year due to the historical average export volume and the potential impact of Avian Influenza outbreaks in the Northern Hemisphere.
