In September, Brazil's chicken meat exports reached 485 thousand tons, a 22.1% increase from the previous year, marking the second-highest monthly performance in the sector's history with US$ 953.8 million in revenue. Despite a slight decrease in exports from January to September compared to the previous year, with a 0.6% increase in volume and a 4% decrease in revenue, the sector is showing positive trends, particularly in the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, and the European Union, which have all seen significant increases in imports. The largest exporter of chicken meat in Brazil, Paraná, also experienced a 20% increase in exports year-on-year.
