Peruvian melon exports increased by 177.4% in the January-September period of this year compared to the same period in 2022, reaching a total of 117.8 tons. Fresh melons accounted for 69.5% of the shipments, followed by melon seeds at 23.9% and frozen melons at 6.7%. Chile was the main buyer, with a 51.8% share, while other countries made up the remaining 48.2%.
