Chinese authorities have approved the import of cattle by-products from Russia for use in the national cuisine. The General Administration of Customs of China has published a set of requirements for the inspection, quarantine, and hygiene of these products. These include frozen and chilled products, and muscle and skeletal tissue from livestock up to 30 months old. The export of these goods can only be conducted by companies registered with the PRC authorities. The delivery of these products from Russia must adhere to the laws, regulations, and bilateral protocols of both countries.
