The seventh shipment of U.S. soybeans was loaded last weekend and is already en route to China. This is the first large-volume shipment of soybeans since May. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Chinese importers last month reserved nearly 2 million tonnes of U.S. soybeans for delivery in the 2025/26 marketing year, which ends in August 2026. Overall Chinese purchases remain significantly below pre-trade war levels.
