Ginger harvest has started in China

Freshly harvested ginger is about to enter the Chinese market. The weather conditions in the ginger growing areas have been good. The growers expect an abundant harvest this year. Wang Junjie, sales manager at Jining Shangzhuo Food, recently shared his insights on the cultivation and export conditions of Chinese ginger. The peak period of ginger harvest in Shandong is mid-October. The weather conditions were excellent. Not too much rain has fallen and no natural disasters have occurred. That is why the horticulturists expect that the quality of the product and the yield will be high this season. The new ginger will have to dry and be processed in the sun for another month, but will then be ready for export at the end of December.
