Cities of Anseong and Gwangmyeong conclude "Urban-Rural Symbiosis Business Agreement"

Anseong City and Gwangmyeong City signed a "Rural-Urban Symbiosis Business Cooperation Agreement" at the Gwangmyeong Youth Training Center on July 24 to supply local food. This agreement aims to establish a cooperative system to provide Anseong's local agricultural products to Gwangmyeong's public catering and welfare programs, and to expand rural-urban exchange and mutual benefit policies for regional economic growth and the improvement of citizens' welfare. Through this agreement, Anseong City will supply seasonal fruits produced in the region to Gwangmyeong's support program for elderly living alone and as snacks for after-school elementary care classrooms starting next year. Additionally, Anseong will set up a direct sales market for farmers during Gwangmyeong festivals and offer free rural experiences in Anseong to Gwangmyeong citizens.
