According to Emater/RS-Ascar, the crops are in the vegetative development phase, benefiting from recent climatic conditions. “The predominance of sunny weather and spaced rainfalls favored the initial establishment,” allowing for the adequate conduction of irrigation, fertilization, and control of invasive plants. In areas with superficial water restrictions, irrigation has been decisive in ensuring uniform germination and emergence, especially in crops planted later.
