The construction of the new agricultural machinery rental business facility at the Uiseong County Agricultural Technology Center has been completed and it began full operations on the 10th. The total investment for the new construction of the rental business facility was 1.4 billion won (450 million won from national funds, 230 million won from provincial funds, and 730 million won from county funds). The old, outdated building was demolished and some surrounding land was purchased, resulting in the completion of a new 629 square meters building, including offices, storage warehouses, and entry/exit areas, on a total site area of 7,000 square meters. The previous rental business facility, which was constructed in 1994 and has exceeded 30 years, was an outdated building, making the site very cramped and backward. This led to operational issues in the rental business facility, including exposure to hazardous working environments.
