Petrobras President Magda Chambriard emphasized on Monday, the 24th, the partnership between the state-owned company and the business sector of Minas Gerais. In the state, the company has contracted everything from administrative support, consulting to operational air chartering, but without neglecting small businesses, she assured.
"In the last 24 months, contracts with Minas Gerais suppliers have totaled R$ 7.4 billion," the executive stated. "We have 16,000 suppliers registered in Minas Gerais to help Petrobras," she cited.
Magda participated in the closing of the Eloos Energia cycle, which discussed perspectives and challenges of the energy sector. The event is held at the Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Magda was invited by Grupo Itatiaia, the creator of Eloos.
The executive took the opportunity to reiterate the message that the company is also committed to supporting the Brazilian agribusiness. "The next 72 years of Petrobras will be different and agribusiness is part of that change."
