According to an analysis released by Grão Direto this Monday (17), the short-term outlook for the first corn crop is contingent on the development of the crops in the South, which are now facing risks due to excessive rainfall. The company states that "the planting has progressed well, reaching 54.3% in the Center-South," with Paraná 99% sown and Rio Grande do Sul 77% sown, but emphasizes that the atypical cold and other adverse weather conditions may affect the initial production potential.
