Cusco: 150,000 fruit tree seedlings will be produced in Pichari, Peru

The District Municipality of Pichari, in the Cusco region, has implemented 40 agricultural tunnels to produce more than 150,000 fruit tree seedlings, including soursop, passion fruit and camu camu, in four nurseries located in the communities of Pedro Ruiz Gallo, Puerto Mayo, Quisto Central and Natividad. “Of the 150,000 seedlings, 35,000 are soursop, 58,000 are passion fruit and 61,000 are camu camu. The first production of passion fruit seedlings will be installed in the final field, approximately in 52 hectares, at the end of November this year.
