The Research and Selection Institute of Horticulture in Golovusy, Czech Republic, has conducted studies on the protection of apricot flowers from monilial burn in ecological cultivation. The research revealed that varieties such as Betinka, Darina, Bergroad, Pincot, and PL 2/258 have the highest resistance to monilial blight for three years. The study also found that treating the Harohem and Veharda varieties with a mixture containing inactivated dried yeast and sulfur was the most effective in preventing monilial burn, with an efficiency of 72%. Other treatments, such as sulfur, copper-containing preparations, and the chemical fungicide prochloraz, had varying levels of effectiveness.
