Dairy products market in Poland (25/02/2024)

Sales prices of dairy products in Poland Dairy plants monitored under the Integrated Agricultural Market Information System of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development sold butter in blocks at PLN 23.01/kg on February 19–25, 2024, i.e. 0.3% cheaper than a week ago. This was a price level lower by 1% than a month ago, but higher by 6% than a year earlier. Packaged butter was sold at PLN 24.69/kg, which was 3.4% more expensive than in the previous week, but 1% cheaper than a month earlier. The price of packaged butter was 8% higher than last year. The sales price of skimmed milk powder was PLN 11.22/kg and was at the same level as the week before. It was 4% lower than a month ago and 8% lower than a year earlier. The price for whole milk powder was PLN 16.15/kg, i.e. 1.6% more than a week earlier and 1% more than a month ago. Compared to the prices from a year ago, PMP was 7% cheaper.
