Triphenylmethane dye, a dangerous substance that can cause tumors in humans, was found in imported trout from Kyrgyzstan. The Center for Grain Quality Assessment of the Orenburg Region discovered traces of the dye in two samples of trout, which violates product safety regulations. There have been ongoing concerns about the quality and origin of trout from Kyrgyzstan, prompting the Rosselkhoznadzor to request support from the Eurasian Economic Commission for inspections of fish farming enterprises in the country.
