The blockade by transporters in France, due to ongoing farmer protests, has led to an estimated 40% of fruit and vegetable production being stored in the Region of Murcia, according to the association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers-Exporters (Proexport). The most affected crops are lettuce, broccoli, and cauliflower. The Spanish Federation of Associations of Fruit and Vegetable Exporters (Fepex) has expressed concern over the situation, criticizing the lack of action by French authorities. The regions most impacted by this situation are Almería, Valencia, and Murcia.
