Peru's Pisco exports fell by 4% to US$ 8.88 million between January and November 2023, due to overstock in the US and increased domestic consumption, according to the Association of Exporters (ADEX). The top three destinations for Pisco, a type of brandy produced in various regions of Peru, were the US, Spain, and the Netherlands. ADEX has called for a strategy to diversify Pisco's markets and strengthen its presence in existing ones. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) has launched a program, 'Pisco for the World', to provide technical assistance to pisco producers in Ica to simplify their shipments.
