Dongwon Industries Discusses Economic Cooperation Expansion with Senegalese President

Dongwon Group announced on the 8th that its holding company Dongwon Industries' delegation visited President Macky Sall of Senegal. Senegal is one of Dongwon Industries' global production bases and serves as the economic center of West Africa, functioning as a hub connecting Europe and North and Central America. The delegation, led by Vice Chairman Lee Myung-woo, Dongwon Industries' executive, discussed continuous economic cooperation and mutual growth with the Senegalese government during the visit. Dongwon Group first established ties with Senegal in 2011 by acquiring tuna cannery S.C.A SA and seafood company CAPSEN. S.C.A SA processes approximately 30,000 tons of tuna annually, caught directly by CAPSEN's fleet, and exports to the United States and Europe.
