Turkiye: Dried fruit exports exceeded $241 million

Southeastern Anatolia Exporters' Association (GAİB) member companies exported 241 million 49 thousand dollars worth of dried fruit to 94 countries in 9 months. Southeastern Anatolia Dried Fruits and Products Exporters' Association President Mehmet Çıkmaz told AA that they will reach their year-end targets in dried fruit exports. Expressing that they are satisfied with the export, Çıkmaz said: "When the sector export of dried fruit export, which is among the basic and most important agricultural products of Turkey, is examined in the January-September period of 2024, the dried fruit and product exports from our region increased by 28.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and became 241 million 49 thousand dollars.
