Turkey's dried fruit exports from the Southeastern Anatolia Region saw a significant increase of 13.4% in quantity and 28.4% in value in the first nine months of 2024, compared to the previous year, totaling $241.5 million. The exports were primarily concentrated around dried apricots and pistachios, accounting for 81% of the total sector exports, with the European Union being the primary market. The exports were distributed to 94 countries, with Germany, Italy, and the USA ranking as the top three importers. The country's export association participated in the World Food Moscow Fair to further promote its dried fruit products.
