The president of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation, Mario Urrea, along with the water commissioner, Ana María Arenas, and the technical director, Carlos Marco, held a working meeting with representatives of the Irrigation Communities (CCRR) of Alhama de Murcia and Totana, led by their presidents, Francisco Lázaro Abellán and Felipe Andreo, respectively. Among the issues discussed, the irrigators from Alhama and Totana expressed their interest in the status of the proceedings related to the pipeline from the Cerro Colorado reservoir, in the section between intake 26 of the Totana Irrigation Community and the future intake of the Alhama Irrigation Community, within the Águilas desalination plant interconnection project.
