IUNG-PIB has determined that there is still a water deficit in the center of Poland and in Wielkopolska, posing a current agricultural drought risk in these areas. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall has been occurring in southeastern and eastern Poland, affecting the harvest of rapeseed. As for crop prices, cereal and EU rapeseed prices fell on the Paris stock exchange on Wednesday, but prices in surveyed collection points in Poland have either remained stable or slightly increased. Consumer wheat ranges from PLN 850-950/t, feed wheat PLN 750-820/t, feed barley approx. PLN 650/t, consumption rye PLN 600-720/t, dry corn PLN 820-930/t, and rapeseed is around PLN 1,850/t.
