A survey of units quoting prices for durian exports in the Mekong Delta region on December 30 showed that the price of Monthong durian has exceeded VND200,000/kg, reaching VND202,000 - 205,000/kg. Monthong durian type A (yellow flesh, powder, enough sweetness, 2.7 boxes, weighing from 1.8 - 5.2 kg) is purchased at VND205,000/kg, type B (2.5 boxes, from 1.6 - 5.7 kg) is VND185,000/kg. For Ri6, the purchase price of type A also reached VND127,000/kg, type B from VND105,000 - 107,000/kg. Meanwhile, the prices of Ri6 and Thai durian remain stable for both bulk and beautiful types. Specifically, the price of Ri6 durian in bulk is fluctuating between 60,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, while the price of Thai durian in bulk is 70,000 - 80,000 VND.
