The data reveals a steep decline in the production of flour by 26.6%, bread and bakery products by 3%, pasta by 31%, bran by 26.5%, feed by 5.2%, and cereals and wholemeal flour from several grains by 15.2%. Additionally, the production of rice and cereals from other sources experienced a notable drop of 29.4%. Despite these production challenges, the forecast for the grain and oilseeds harvest this year remains strong, with an estimated yield of 96.2 million tons.
