Recent rainfall has positively impacted early corn crops in the core region, with 85% in very good to excellent condition. Most crops are at a critical stage, with 45% pancling, 35% flowering, and 15% at the milky grain stage. However, hail storms have caused up to 80% losses in some fields. The sowing of early soybeans has been completed, and 75% of the second crop has been planted. Water reserves are adequate to optimal in the Rosario region, but scarce to regular in the rest of the region due to increased water requirements with the approach of summer.
