EFSA: Reports on dangerous food remain at high levels

A total of 400 notifications of dangerous foods and animal feed were received in August in the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), which is the European Union's primary mechanism for protecting public health through timely information exchange when identifying risks related to food, feed, and materials intended for food contact.
