Egypt has enough wheat stocks for four months

The Egyptian government has confirmed that the nation's strategic reserves are sufficient to meet consumption needs for several months, with wheat reserves lasting four months, sugar for 13.5 months, and vegetable oils for 6.3 months. In efforts to secure wheat supplies, Egypt's state agency Mostakbal Misr signed agreements with European exporters in January, including barter deals, and secured direct contracts for 1.267 million tons of wheat, mainly from Russia, in December.
