Tajikistan: Enterprises of the Sughd region increased the export of dried fruits by 1.6 times

Exports of dried fruits from the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan since the beginning of this year have increased by 1.6 times or by 19,760.2 tons compared to the same period in 2022, Avesta.tj reports. According to the industry department of the Main Department of Statistics of the region, 20 small and medium-sized enterprises in the region are engaged in processing and packaging of dried fruits. Until September 2023, these enterprises produced 3,641.66 tons of products. Including 292.9 tons of apricots, 29.1 tons of prunes, 104.58 tons of dried apples, 1663.6 tons of assorted dried fruits, 160.9 tons of rose hips and 1219.5 tons of dried apricots.
