Ethanol prices in the São Paulo market remained firm last week, according to surveys by Cepea. From August 11 to 15, the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator for hydrated ethanol for the state of São Paulo averaged R$ 2.6551/liter (net of ICMS and PIS/Cofins), an increase of 0.97% compared to the previous period. For anhydrous ethanol, the increase was 0.99%, with the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator at R$ 3.0884/liter, a value net of taxes (excluding PIS/Cofins).
